The College of Business and Management offers a GMAT Preparation Course to help you increase your GMAT score. The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is part of the admission requirements for many schools, including Northeastern, that offer an MBA or MSA degree. One of the best ways to prepare for the GMAT is to enroll in a course that sharpens your test-taking skills and immerses you in the kinds of questions you'll encounter on the exam. The GMAT exam is administered on computers, so may be quite different from any test you've taken before.

THE NEIU GMAT PREP COURSE

Unlike some other GMAT preparation courses, our course is taught by a full-time tenured faculty member with over fifteen years of teaching experience, and not by a graduate student. We use the latest up-to-date learning resources and software provided by Cambridge Educational Services. The course emphasizes test-taking strategies for enhancing your scores on the verbal and quantitative sections of the exam. The GMAT professor reviews basic algebra and geometry, and provides math shortcuts and assigns homework each week to prepare you further. Northeastern Illinois University will provide, on a limited basis, access to the University's math lab, English writing lab, and computer lab at no additional cost.

WEB-BASED PREP
Also available is a self-guided GMAT Prep course delivered entirely via the World Wide Web. The course includes an on-line question and answer bulletin board. Study guide books and sample exams will be mailed to your home, but no professor will be available to assist you. Once you enroll, course access is valid for four months, but no refunds are permitted after access has been granted.
