Management majors study the theory and practice of management. Organizational behavior and structure are also considered so students may understand what management techniques and practices give businesses and other organizations the best chances to meet their goals and objectives. Small, medium, and large organizations including those in both the profit and non-profit sectors are considered.

Prerequisites for all business major and minor programs include completing eight Foundation courses with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a grade of "C' or better in each course, and a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average for all course work at NEIU.
