Marketing deals with the strategic and tactical planning activities of organizations for developing, pricing, promoting, and distributing goods to meet the needs of customers through commercial exchanges. Service and non-profit marketing are also considered.

Prerequisites for all business major and minor programs include completing eight Foundation courses with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a grade of "C' or better in each course, and a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average for all course work at NEIU.

The program components leading to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing are:
