The General Business Administration program offers two options:

Option I is designed for second majors: students who wish to combine course work in a non-business discipline with a solid foundation in business administration. Students with an interest in International Business may use this option in conjunction with a major in the Foreign Languages Department.

Option II offers a broad, interdisciplinary orientation to modern business theory and practice, and is especially helpful for those who may wish to start or work in a small or medium sized enterprise where employees and managers are expected to exhibit a broad range of business competencies.

Prerequisites for all business major and minor programs include completing eight Foundation courses with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a grade of "C' or better in each course, and a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average for all course work at NEIU.
