Students
who wish to declare a business major, or to enroll in 300-level Business
courses, are epxected first to complete, with a 2.50 grade point average
or higher, a set of eight courses that teach you skills that serve
as a foundation for continued business study. The Foundation Courses are:

Foundation courses
are "lower-division" (freshman/sophomore)
courses at Northeastern, so can be transferrred from any accredited
community college or university. If you are currently attending a Chicago-area
community college, you may want to click the Transfer Courses link on
the left side of this page for a listing of your school's Foundation-equivalent
courses. Once you've been admitted to Northeastern, you'll need special
permission to take these (or any) courses elsewhere.
The College requires
that you earn at least a 2.50 grade point average (GPA) on a 4-point
scale for the Foundation courses. You can check your current Foundation
