| Finance is the study of value. Using
basic principles from the fields of accounting, economics, and statistics,
finance involves analysis of financial institutions, financial markets,
and financial concepts. Finance majors can emphasize the study of markets
or the study of financial management practices.
Prerequisites
for all business major and minor programs include completing eight Foundation
courses with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a grade of "C'
or better in each course, and a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average
