Northeastern Illinois University is a state-supported institution located in a residential neighborhood in the northwest section of Chicago.  The University serves a culturally diverse student population of approximately 12,000.  Applications are invited from candidates with PhD/D.B.A. degrees in the appropriate teaching field from AACSB-accredited schools.  ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered for non-tenure track appointment. Required qualifications for the business law position are provided below.  All positions will start in August 2008.  Currently, we offer the following positions:

 DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS LAW AND FINANCE

Accounting

One tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank.  Teaching areas are accounting principles, financial accounting, auditing and contemporary financial accounting at the undergraduate and graduate level.  Demonstrated potential for excellent teaching and research is required.
