Northeastern Illinois University believes in making dance exciting, educational and accessible to a wide variety of audiences. Bringing the best of Chicago dance performances to NEIU, the 2012-2013 Season offers something for everyone! These performances will highlight choreography by acclaimed dance companies and guest artists, faculty and NEIU students. Additionally, working in collaboration with the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, an important center for dance in Chicago, audiences also have the opportunity to experience the professional dance companies presented through the Ruth Page Dance Series. NEIU is also home to the Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater, an in-residence professional dance company, whose artistry and performances have thrilled audiences across the globe.
