Setting Up iOS E-Mail

 

These configuration files have been created for the convenience of NEIU faculty, staff, and students. Northeastern Illinois University does not currently support personal mobile devices and is not liable for any damage or data loss that is directly or indirectly related to the use of these configuration files. Use these files at your own risk.

Note: Please read the FAQ in the iOS Nmail instructions for important information on resetting your password so it will work with your iOS device.

In order to set up your iPhone, iPad touch, or iPad to access your NEIU e-mail, you will need to follow the instructions available to the right. These instructions will direct you step-by-step on how to download and install the required configuration file.


Faculty and staff should use the files designated for Exchange accounts. Students should use the files designated for Webmail.


After the configuration file has been downloaded and installed, you will be prompted to enter your NEIU e-mail, username, and password. After entering your credentials into the configuration profile, you will be able to access your NEIU e-mail using the built-in Mail program on your iOS device.
