In this day in age, technology must be integrated in every curriculum. Whether the teacher uses video, audio, or various presentation material to enhance children’s’ learning experiences, or whether the teacher gives the student the opportunity to create something using technology, it is imperative that technology be used.
As we are learning in INMD 410, the Internet coupled with technology also provides many tools for the teacher to create a more positive learning environment for his or her students. Internet sources can simulate authentic tasks to develop student’s experiences. Students can also use the Internet as a reference, a research tool and as an easy source of communication among many other things.
Computer literacy is as important today as the old-fashioned kind of literacy is.
