Web usability:
Thinks like presenting info to the user in a clear and concise way, or giving the correct choices to the users in a obvious way are examples of a web site with a good web usability. Making sure that the most important thing is in the right place on a web page is also a key. Things like that make it easy for user to navigate the website without any prior training. In the case of eCommerce websites, the meaning of web-usability is narrowed down to efficiency: triggering sales and/or performing other transactions valuable to the business. Web usability received renewed attention as many early eCommerce websites started failing in 2000. Whereas fancy graphical design had been regarded as very important for a successful e-business application during the emergence of internet in the 1990s, web-usability experts said quite the reverse was true. What has proven to be affective was focusing on the end-user attention.
