Marxist Revolutions and Anti-Colonial Movements

On the conference’s second day we will examine the 20th century’s legacy of Marxist revolutions and the decolonization process with reference to the Russian Revolution (1917), the Chinese Revolution (1949), the Cuban Revolution (1959), and their influence on various anti-colonial struggles in Africa and Southeast Asia (Vietnam in particular).
