What is Revolution?
On the conference’s opening day we will examine the idea of revolution in general and explore its meaning with reference to the legacies of four major revolutions: the American Revolution (1775–83), the French Revolution (1787-99), the Haitian Revolution (1791–1804), and the Mexican Revolution (1910–20).
