HOW TO PREPARE FOR CURRICULAR ACTIONS

A set of guidelines for College of Arts & Sciences Curricular Actions                                       AS 0F 9/01/00

WHEN TO SUBMIT

Proposals for new courses must complete the entire process before being offered.  It is recommended that curricular actions be initiated at least nine months before the term the course or change is expected to be implemented.  Most course changes will be effective the Fall Term after the change is made in the University Academic Catalog.

CAAC requires documents ready for distribution at least one week before its monthly meetings.  CAAC does not meet during the summer.  Motions will not be voted upon during the meeting at which they are made.
