Welcome to your Pre-Registration Tutorial

Before you get started here's an overview of what information you'll find:

- General Education Requirements
- English and Math Requirements
- Why it's important to declare a major soon
- What classes you will be taking this fall

- Meeting with individual colleges

What to Expect at the Orientation/Advising Workshop:
You will meet with an academic advisor who will explain your placement test scores and talk to you about General Education courses and all the other university graduation requirements. During this time you will also select, and register for, your Fall classes.

TO GET THE MOST OF YOUR WORKSHOP

-Read through the rest of the information on this website
-Tell your advisor as much as you can about your academic and career goals
-If you've already decided on a major, be sure to let your advisor know
-Let your advisor know if you plan to work during the Fall and, if so, how many hours per week.
-Tell your advisor whether you want to attend school full-time (4 -5 classes) or part-time (less than 4 classes)

WHAT TO BRING AND NOT TO BRING
-DO bring the list of courses you pick at the end of this tutorial
-DO NOT bring any money you will not be expected to pay for your classes on this day

The advisor you meet with will be your assigned advisor until you formally declare your major.
