The format below will help you write a Real Life Issues Curriculum Infusion lesson plan for your k-12 class. Use the worksheet and sample lesson plans. They are excellent tools to help you produce a CI lesson plan for your class.

GRADE LEVEL
Kindergarten – High School

ILLINOIS LEARNING STANDARDS

To infuse real life issues prevention into your subject lesson.
  1. What is the subject objective of this lesson?

  2. Define what students should know and be able to do in this subject area
    as a result of your lesson.

    Indicate which real life area(s) will be addressed.
    Indicate what the students are expected to learn from this lesson.
    Include any change in knowledge, skills, and attitude you anticipate.
