The architects of Saint Simeon were Pavlevic, Kovacevic, and R. Markovich and the style of the building is the Morava School of Serbian Byzantine Architecture. Some of the materials are not the same as those used in the original monastery but the stripes and checkerboard patterns are the same. There are no pews in the church because the services are conducted in the old Orthodox tradition.
