The Career Development Center provides resources for career preparation and advancement for the Northeastern Illinois University Community. The Career Development Center aims to guide individuals with all phases of their career development when transitioning from college to career. We engage and empower the community through career exploration and job preparation to be successful leaders in a global world.

The Career Development Center assists Northeastern Illinois University students and alumni in developing appropriate major and career options through individual appointments, assessments, job fairs, workshops, and many other on and off campus events.
We offer drop-in resume critiques Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3pm. At all other times, appointments are required. Please call (773) 442-4680 to schedule an appointment.

Resume Critique Drop-In Hours
Mondays and Wednesdays: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (No appointment necessary during these hours).
Students and alumni may have their resume and/or cover letter critiqued by a career advisor at no cost. During the above drop-in hours, you will receive a brief, 15-minute critique of your resume. More in-depth resume critiques may be scheduled by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call (773-442-4680) or visit the office during regular office hours (Bldg. B, room 119).

If you need immediate assistance, you are advised to come in during resume critique hours or make an appointment.
