Protecting Sensitive Data

In order to protect sensitive data used for self-service transactions, we are using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology for all such transactions.

We are using SSL certificates that ensure the following:
     • Encryption of sensitive information during online transactions.
     • Login and password information is encrypted.
     • Verification of the identity of the certificate owner (NEIU) by the issuing Certificate Authority.
