The symposium is a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with each other and present their work to peers and faculty. It is the crown jewel of scholastic student events at Northeastern, having grown from 25 students in 1993 to 180 students in 2014.
Students: participation in the Symposium can be listed on your resume/vita and your graduate school applications. And it’s fun!
If you are interested in participating in the Symposium, ask a faculty sponsor to work with you to prepare your abstract and presentation. Because the Symposium Committee looks for specific features in abstracts, it will be beneficial for you to review the abstracts posted on the symposium resource page below. You will also find materials there for submitting your proposal.
