The Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics (HPERA) offers NCATE accredited undergraduate degree programs to meet the needs of students who desire teaching careers in Physical Education and/or Health, in Community Health; or who want to further their careers by acquiring graduate level training in Exercise Science.

HPERA offers three bachelor's degrees, two minors and one master's degree to prepare students in careers in health, exercise and teaching.
