Watch and Listen!

"...The three musicians seemed in total accord as to interpretation, and their pleasure in working with each other was patent. The technical proficiency, the exquisite focus of the string sound, the breadth, nobility, and delicacy of the pianist’s contribution, the grace and intensity of the singing lines, the emotional intensity and truth of all the playing (yet without any breach of decorum or style) – you just don’t hear better chamber music playing than this." San Diego Reader
Formed in 1999, the Amelia Piano Trio is among the most exciting young chamber ensembles to appear in the last decade. Called "remarkable" by Strings and "exemplary" by The Strad, the group has quickly become one of its generation’s most sought-after ensembles. In its short history the trio has recorded critically acclaimed CDs for Naxos and Cedille Records, and has been recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming. They have performed extensively in North America and abroad, and some members of the trio have also toured North America and Central Asia with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project.
