Home Runs for Heroes is a softball game to benefit the Tom Dalof Heroes Fund at NEIU. Tom Dalof was an NEIU student who was killed in a hit and run after saving a woman from attackers.
You can be a hero too by participating in Home Runs for Heroes. You may do so by playing in the game, attending the game, and/or making a contribution to the Tom Dalof Heroes Fund. This family friendly event will feature home run hitting and softball throwing contests, a mascot race, a drawing with great prizes and, of course, our main event – a softball game between the Dalof Sluggers of Huntley, Illinois and the rag-tag team of the NEIU north-siders! We hope you will participate and join in the fun.
