Academic Honors Reception

The Academic Honors Reception acknowledges those students who are eligible for the 2011 December Commencement Convocation and have achieved academic honors.
At the reception, you will receive an Honors Medallion that should be worn at the Commencement Ceremony. If you are unable to attend the reception, you can pick up your medallion in the area marked “MEDALLIONS” at the student Check-in area prior to the Commencement Ceremony on December 18.
If you are unable to attend either the Reception or the Commencement, arrangements can be made to pick up your medallion by calling the University Events Office at (773) 442-4270.
MEDALLIONS MUST BE PICKED UP – WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAIL THEM.
The check-in process and seating arrangements will be based on your confirmation of attendance. You are required to e-mail your response by the deadline, Monday, December 5, 2011 to: d-tapia1@neiu.edu to participate in this program.
Parking will be complimentary for you and your guests on Level 3 and 4 of the parking garage from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
4:30 p.m. Guest & Student Check-in
5:00 p.m. Presentation & Medals
5:45 p.m. Reception
IMPORTANT:
You must check-in at the Alumni Hall Lobby before going to the reception.
