I am moving to a new office can I keep my same number? Yes, the telephone number will go with you to the new office.
I am moving to a new office what do I do? Call ext. 4300 or e-mail us at Telecommunication@neiu.edu to provide the following information: extension number, old and new office location and when you will be moving.
I have no dial tone what do I do? Check is the telephone plugged into the correct jack (voice jack verse data jack)? Are the wires running from the receiver to the telephone, and from the telephone to the jack, plugged in securely? Does the receiver rest in its cradle properly? If problems still exist, call the Telecommunications Department at ext. 4300.
My telephone does not ring what do I do? Check the make sure the ringer is on. Check make sure the telephone is plugged into the correct jack. If problems still exist, call the Telecommunications Department at ext. 4300.
