About Us
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs oversees the ten departments and offices that comprise the Office of Student Affairs. These departments provide leadership for the co-curriculum that complements and supplements the academic areas, the out-of-classroom education of students, and the diverse services essential to successful retention and graduation. The areas of responsibility of the Vice President for Student Affairs have a staff of approximately 36 Administrative/Professional employees, 80 Civil Service employees, and 153 student employees.
Our goals reflect Northeastern Illinois University’s focus on excellence, access, diversity, and community and support the academic mission of the University, enabling students to develop to their highest potential. Our programs and services enhance the intellectual climate of the University by providing a seamless learning and living experience that recognizes the unique needs of all students.
The Office of Student Affairs has made a commitment to pursue the development of a focused, caring, ethical, and diverse community on the Northeastern Illinois University campus.
