Be ProActive! Make the Most of your Financial Aid Eligibility
APPLYING FOR AID for the 2012-2013 AWARD YEAR
The 2012-2013 FAFSA on the web application is now available at through June 30, 2013. Beginning January 2, 2012, students can apply for the 2012-2013 award year using FAFSA on the Web. Also, beginning January 20, 2012 students and families can extract data from their actual 2011 Federal Tax Returns into FAFSA on the Web from the Internal Revenue Service!
Please note to ensure secured measures and integrity of the financial aid programs, offices will no longer be able to accept copies of federal tax documents from students and families. Instead, verification documents will need to come direct from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the form of a transcript. To avoid delays, our office encourages students and families to use the IRS Data Retrieval from the FAFSA on the Web application.
Make sure you have your Federal Student Aid PIN number (and your parent’s PIN, if applicable) when you sign into the FAFSA on the Web. If you don’t have a PIN or have lost your PIN, you can request one at the FAFSA website.
