Admitted Transfers
Step 1 for Transfers- Meet with your Advisor
Academic Advising Center Transfer students are able to enroll for NEIU classes during advanced registration. This means, dependent on your transfer credits, you can register while current NEIU students are also registering. You must be an admitted student to register for classes. We strongly encourage all transfer students to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes. Academic advisors can help you review which classes transferred from your previous college(s) and help you understand the courses that you must complete in order to graduate with a degree from Northeastern. Students who have not yet decided on a major or who have not yet completed 60 credits should meet with an advisor from the Academic Advising Center. You may schedule an appointment by calling (773) 442-5470. Please visit the Academic Advising Center website to learn more about transfer advisors contact information across various academic programs.
