Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) encourages and assists faculty and staff throughout the university in developing proposals for external funding. The funds received are for both essential and innovative activities in teaching, public service and research.
OSP provides information on grant opportunities, serves as a liaison to funding agency program staff, and supports faculty and staff in proposal development and submission, and in initiating funded projects. OSP manages the proposal review process, and proposal sign-off by an authorized institutional representative. The office also provides administrative support to the university’s Human Subjects Committee in its efforts to educate and inform the university community on issues related to research involving humans.
