Position: Office Support Specialist College of Arts and Sciences
Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent; and,
36 months of work experience performing routine clerical/office work experience including use of computer systems comparable to that performed at the Office Support Associate level or in other positions of comparable responsibility or
36 semester hours of college or university course work in Office Occupations, Business Administration, Business Education or closely related fields, and 12 months of work experience performing routine clerical/office work experience including use of computer systems comparable to that performed at the Office Support Associate level or in other positions of comparable responsibility or
36 semester hours of vocational training which provided a knowledge of generally accepted clerical procedures, and 12 months of work experience performing routine clerical/office work experience including use of computer systems comparable to that performed at the Office Support Associate level or in other positions of comparable responsibility or
60 semester hours of college or university course work in any curriculum, and 12 months of work experience performing routine clerical/office work experience including use of computer systems comparable to that performed at the Office Support Associate level or in other positions of comparable responsibility or
Any combination of work experience, course work, and training totaling 36 months and
Ability to keyboard accurately at a rate of 40 net words per minute
Salary: $14.77 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. (Hours may vary depending on departmental needs)
Appointment: 100%
Responsibilities: The major function of this position is to provide staff assistance to the Dean, Associate Deans and Administrative Assistant II for Student Affairs of the College of Arts and Sciences.
