Functional Title: Assistant Registrar for Registration
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a field related to the position and a minimum of three years of successful experience in a business setting with demonstrated experience in office administration, coordinating projects, and facilitating complex meetings. Strong data and analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills MS Office, web and electronic communication competence is highly desirable.
$38,000 - $40,000 per year
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.- with the ability to work at least one late night, 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.
It is responsible for the administrative coordination of all aspects of the Registration Office and the Enrollment Services Center which is the initial point of contact for students, staff and faculty with the Offices of Registration Undergraduate Records, and Admissions Review and Processing. The position provides administrative support to the University Registrar and to the offices of Undergraduate Records, Graduate Records, and Veterans Services on an as-needed basis. This includes the following: student record management, transcript production, enrollment/degree verification, degree audit, grade processing, graduation evaluation, document imaging, and veteran services. The incumbent must be able to maintain the confidentiality of student records as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
