The NEIU-El Centro Campus is located approximately four miles south of the main campus at 3119 North Pulaski Road, one block south of Belmont Avenue. The NEIU-El Centro Campus makes available the general education program of the University to students who are interested in taking classes primarily during the evening hours and/or on the weekends. In addition, the NEIU-El Centro Campus offers undergraduate courses from the Social Work and Human Resource Development programs and graduate courses from the Educational Leadership and Development and Reading programs. All the classes at the NEIU-El Centro Campus are taught in English, with the exception of the language courses.
Course Registration Procedures
NEIU students admitted through NEIU-El Centro Campus get priority course registration at NEIU-El Centro Campus. Non-El Centro Campus students planning on taking any of the following classes at NEIU-El Centro Campus may register during all registration periods. Please refer to the individual academic departments in the department notes section for important information which may affect your enrollment and registration. Also, refer to the policy on first class session attendance. Students taking classes at NEIU-El Centro Campus are considered Northeastern Illinois University students and are charged the appropriate tuition and fees. For more information call 773-442-4080.
