Independent and Tutored Study
Independent or tutored study requires the consent of the instructor, department chairperson and the college dean on the appropriate form at least one week prior to registration.
Deadline to submit the Independent/Tutored Study or Thesis Seminar form for Spring to the enrollment Services Center is January 20.
Thesis seminar requires written consent of the Thesis advisor, department chairperson, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, dean of the College of Business & Management, or dean of the College of Education, program coordinator/advisor, and the dean of the Graduate College on the Thesis Seminar form.
NOTE: All forms may be obtained from the department offering the course.
