Hispanic Heritage Celebration
The Hispanic Heritage Alumni Celebration is one of three annual awards celebrations held by Northeastern's Office of Alumni Relations. The event honors alumni, students, faculty, and community members who exemplify excellence and who have made significant contributions to Northeastern Illinois University and to the Hispanic community. Over 200 alumni and friends attend this celebratory event!
The 2009 Hispanic Heritage Celebration, "Noche de la Familia," will be held on Friday, September 25 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the University's Alumni Hall. Find out more on our Hispanic Heritage Month Calendar of Events.
Nomination forms for the event are now available. The form is a PDF file that you can download and return by Thursday, August 13, 2009. There are five categories for awards of excellence: business, community leadership, education, fine arts, and student award of excellence.
