College Bridge Program
Northeastern Illinois University participates in the Chicago Public High Schools Bridge Program. This unique program enables highly qualified and motivated Chicago public high school juniors and seniors to take one course per semester at Northeastern.
The College Bridge Program provides a wonderful opportunity for Chicago Public High School juniors and seniors to become familiar with a college environment, enjoy the use of our facilities, and earn college credits while fulfilling high school electives. In addition to these benefits, there is no cost to students. Chicago Public Schools, through its partnership with the University, assumes the cost of tuition, textbooks and public transportation expenses.
Admission Requirements:

Junior or senior standing at a Chicago Public High School |

Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale |

90% attendance rate |
| 4. |
Take Northeastern’s English and math placement exams and place into English 101 and Mathematics 102. Students with ACT math scores of 20 or higher do not have to take the math placement exam. |
