Deepa Pillai

Management and Marketing
Assistant professor, management and marketing, earned her Ph.D. in marketing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She taught for two years as an assistant professor of marketing at Utah Valley University and has worked for several years in the advertising industry. Her research focuses on marketing communication, specifically, consumer attitudes toward product placement. At NEIU, she will be teaching advertising and principles of marketing; other teaching interests are marketing research and consumer behavior.
