Items of Importance
At the start of each semester check the CEST bulletin board [4023]for any possible changes. Names of supervisors, date, time, and room locations. TCs are responsible to do this. DO NOT expect a phone call!
See following announcement about mandatory meetings for major field components. Candidates are required to provide CEST with ANY required information {i.e., grade changes, prerequisite course registration, IL test scores, etc.} before holds will be removed and registration allowed.
REMEMBER - ALL TB tests must be current for packet release and ONLY MANTOUX are accepted. TB test results are required in all schools. You must hand carry your results when visiting the assigned school on your FIRST visit. Health service will provide you with 2 copies ~ 1 = CEST + 1 = School
ALL seminars are MANDATORY. No section changes will be made. Check the CEST bulletin board [4023]for this information. The board will list courses, instructors’ names, times, and meeting locations. Varies by program. SUPERVISORS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION candidates should keep Wednesdays free. The MAJORITY of seminars will be held on Wednesdays EVERY OTHER week from 2 - 4. Starting dates, times, instructors, and locations are listed on the CEST bulletin board [4023].
ALL student teachers must E-mail Dr. Augustine during the 7 - 10th week of student teaching telling: • How things are going • What you have learned • Technology used • Thoughts about the process • Suggestions comments • Inclusion /SPED issues you encountered • General hints for your colleagues • Readiness for your first year as a teacher
