Resolving Problems & Complaints
The clinical experiences and student teaching component of Northeastern Illinois University's Teacher Education Program is designed to provide majors with direct experiences in the classroom, school, and community with the guidance, and under the supervision, of qualified personnel. The quality of these experiences is recognized as a legitimate interest and concern of the student, the school, and the university.
Should a problem or complaint arise relative to any of these experiences, the procedures outlined in Northeastern's Student Handbook will be in effect. It is important that students adhere to the rights and responsibilities relative to conduct stated therein as well as those found in Appendix N.
NOTE: Copies of the Northeastern Student Handbook may be obtained by contacting Office of Student Life at 773-442-4602.
