Reproductive Rights Film Series
LWH 2056
Tuesday, December 1, 1:40 - 2:40 pm
Holding our Ground
Holding Our Ground focuses on reproductive rights around the world featuring reports from the Philippines about the battle over efforts to restrict family planning; Latvia, where sexual taboos still hamper efforts to provide information for teens; Japan, where the falling birthrate is focusing attention on childcare for working women; and finally India, where - despite laws designed to protect the girl child - the practice of female infanticide appears to be growing.
