Scholarship
Criteria:
Must be one of
the top students majoring in political science who demonstrates potential to go
on in the field of political science at the graduate level.
Enrolled full or
part-time (6+hours). Juniors must have completed 90+ hours by the end of
current spring semester. Seniors must
have two or more semesters remaining prior to graduation.
Additional Criteria: Submit an
unofficial transcript.
Write a one-page
typed, double-spaced (12 point size font) statement of your plans for graduate
school and a brief description of your tentative areas of study.
submit a typed,
double-spaced (12 point size font) analytical 2-3 page essay using any
political concept or theory to demonstrate how you would solve a major societal
problem or, more generally, construct a more just society.
