Parking and Public Transportation
Parking on the Northeastern University campus always requires a parking permit. Parking on the side streets around the campus is restricted residential parking between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Northeastern has Level I and Level II parking. Level I parking is closer to classroom buildings and more expensive than Level II parking. Parking permits can be purchased through either direct purchase from the Parking Office, which is located in the Parking Facility - Northeast Side, 1st floor (See Campus Map), or through payroll deductions. The payroll election/vehicle registration form can be downloaded at NEIU Parking Information Website or picked up at the Payroll Office, which is located in the Bernard Office Building, 5555 N. Bernard Street, a block east of the Main Campus.
Daily parking passes can be purchased for $5 per day on an as-needed basis from the Daily Permit Machine in the H lot (South end of campus in Level II) or from the Parking Office. Daily parking passes can only be used in Level II parking areas.
For more parking information, go to the Parking Information website at NEIU Parking Information Website
Public transportation is available to the Northeastern campus. The Number 82 Kimball/Homan bus, the Number 92 Foster bus and the Brown Line train all stop near the campus. For more information go to the CTA Website or call 1-888-YOURCTA (1-888-968-7282)
