Brommel-Barnett-Kenas-Mcguckin-Nicosia-Speake Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded each April (for the following academic year) to one
outstanding student majoring in music who plans to pursue a career in teaching.
Eligibility
- Enrolled full or part-time (6+ credit hours)
- Students must have completed 90+ hours
- Students must have two or more semesters remaining prior to graduation
Application
Applications will be posted in the department in March. In addition to
completing the application form, the applicant will provide:
- Two letters of recommendation
- An essay discussing reasons why the applicant wants to teach music and
teaching goals
