Department of Music and Dance Program
Join Us:

Northeastern offers great values - a faculty of distinguished artists, generous scholarships, and outstanding facilities for study, rehearsal, and performance. Students are provided with the tools and experience they need to set them on the path to achieve their academic and professional goals as performing artists, teachers, and scholars.
The Department of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Our undergraduate degree programs include the bachelor of Arts in Performance (Instrument or Vocal) and Music Education. We also offer a graduate degree program which offers the Master of Arts in Applied Music Pedagogy as well as the Teacher Certification Program (TCP), for students who have already earned at least a bachelors degree, but wish to become state-certified teachers.
The Department of Music also hosts the Dance Program, which offers a minor in dance, and the Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater, the in-residence professional company. Classes and Seminars are offered in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Spanish dance
