Degree Programs

The Department of Music is comprised of two divisions: music and dance. The department offers courses leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts.

All students considering a major or minor in music must consult with the music department advisor for the area of emphasis. To make an appointment, contact the Department of Music Office at (773) 442-5900.

SUMMER ADVISING: Dr. R. Shayne Cofer is the academic advisor for all music majors, minors and graduate students during the summer term.
