Applying to become a Music Major
As easy as 1, 2, 3...
- Apply and be officially accepted as a student of Northeastern Illinois University.
Apply to NEIU Online.
- Once you have been officially accepted as a student of NEIU, contact the Department of Music to arrange an audition. Call (773) 442-5906 or email: Sasha Gerritson
- After you have successfully performed your audition and you have been accepted as a music major, make an appointment with the appropriate academic music advisor.
Note: During the summer, all student advising is done by the department chairperson, Dr. R. Shayne Cofer. Please call (773) 442-5900 to make an appointment.
