Assistant Professors of Biology
Biology � Biochemist/Molecular Biologist - We seek a
biochemist/molecular biologist to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in
molecular biology, biochemistry, general biology and courses in areas of
specialization. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to
excellence in teaching and the ability to engage graduate and undergraduate

Biology�Vertebrate Physiologist - We seek a
vertebrate physiologist with expertise in either general physiology, comparative
physiology, neurophysiology, or endocrinology, and who has specialized knowledge
of at least one major group of vertebrates. The successful candidate will have
a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to engage graduate

Instructors
(Visiting Lecturers) of Biology
The Department of Biology at Northeastern Illinois
University occasionally hires full-time or part-time Instructors (Visiting
Lecturers) to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in the Department. In
general, an earned doctorate in a relevant discipline is required. A masters
degree is the minimum requirement. To be placed in a database of candidates for
