Fine Arts Center Gallery

As a university art gallery the roles of the Fine Arts Center Gallery are to contribute to the university’s educational curriculum and to provide opportunities for cultural enrichment through the exhibition of innovative works of art in all media within a pluralistic, culturally diverse setting. The gallery pursues its goal of furthering understanding of the visual arts by presenting a balance of high-quality, professional contemporary art exhibitions supplemented by written educational material, gallery talks, artist lectures, workshops, and other related activities. The gallery hosts 7-8 exhibits per year including solo and group shows, an annual student show and art sale, and a biannual faculty exhibition. All shows are free and open to the public.
The NEIU gallery is located at 5500 N. St. Louis Avenue in building E in the northwest area of the campus. Parking is free in parking lot F the night of the reception only. Gallery hours are subject to change each semester. Please call 773-442-4944 or visit our website at www.neiu.edu/~gallery/ for more information.
