Academic Reminders
PURPOSE
The purpose of this page is to keep our students up to date with any changes that may occur in the University requirements for graduation. If you have any questions about any of the items on this page, be sure to contact your assigned advisor.
Starting in the Fall of 2007, all entering Freshmen must take one FYE (first year experience) course in their freshmen year. Click here to view the current FYE courses offered and their descriptions.
ECE (English Competency Examination) change! Beginning with the Fall of 2007 the University will no longer require the reading portion of the ECE. All students must still take the written portion of the ECE to graduate from NEIU. For more information about this change go to the Assessment and Testing website.
