NEIU hydrogeology expert available for interviews about
recent flooding in Chicago area
Laura Sanders, Ph.D., professor, earth science, is an expert on the earth’s water cycle. She is available to comment on ground water and wells, the relation between rainfall and surface water runoff, and water chemistry. She regularly conducts research on geology and water issues that affect the Chicago area. Her office at Northeastern Illinois University is very close to the flooding in the Albany Park neighborhood.
