Latina College Life Tour Comes to NEIU
WHAT: In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), in partnership with On the Go Marketing, welcomes the Latina College Life Tour. This event will feature the Hispanic Heritage Display, celebrating key Hispanic individuals, achievements and events in music, film, fashion, and history. It also will showcase the Latina Village, an interactive area featuring NEIU programs and services, campus student organizations, live music, Zumba (Latin inspired cardio workout), and talent and fashion shows.
This event will be free and open to the public.
WHEN: Thursday, October 9, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
WHERE: Northeastern Illinois University
5500 N. Saint Louis Ave. in Chicago
(Use campus entrance located at 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.)
DETAILS: In partnership with On the Go Marketing, the Latina College Life Tour is an annual celebration of the female Hispanic experience during Hispanic Heritage Month held at universities in Chicago, New York, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles. The Latina College Life Tour presents music, fashion, education, beauty, film, comedy, and community to entertain and educate over 300,000 young Latina women nationwide.
